On the occasion of the 2024 International Women’s Day, let us remember and celebrate the contribution our women have made in our lives and in this great nation. This includes our Spiritual, professional and social wellbeing. Without these hardworking women, it is impossible to have a functioning Families, functioning churches and organizations.
Despite the current harsh economic situation, these women we celebrate and honor today, still wake up early to work to feed the nation. This International women’s Day and perhaps this whole women’s month under the theme, “Invest in women: Accelerate Progress,” highlights the importance of gender equality and serves as a sharp reminder of the remarkable achievements of women throughout history, and an opportunity to ignite a collective call for action to address persistent challenges.
The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ)Management team Currently has 50 Percent male and 50 Percent female. The EFZ management team is responsible for key developmental decisions such as Integral Mission, Health Promotions and education, educational support to mention but a few.
We therefore call on the country to join the rest of the world in wishing our hardworking women a happy International Women’s Day but more so to support and respect and invest in women if we are to see meaningful progress.
